Like many ventures for Jacob Ross, the live sound branch of his extensive audio career came about through unconventional means...  after mixing Mucca Pazza's debut album, A Little Marching Band in 2006, the 30 piece band asked Jacob to be their front of house (FOH) engineer.

In 2009 after a couple years of learning via the fiery chaos of Mucca Pazza, Jacob expanded his education in live sound through joining the audio staff at The Hideout

In 2010 he began working as Mucca Pazza's TOUR MANAGER (TM) in addition to FOH sound.

In 2011 Jacob further expanded his live sound skills through working conferences, conventions, weddings, and various public events at the Spertus Institute Venue 610

He continued working at The Hideout and Spertus Venue 610 up until his move to Albuquerque, NM in August of 2014.

After relocating to Los Angeles in 2016, Jacob once again expanded his live sound experience through running audio weekly for the wild & wonderful Scot Nery’s Boobie Trap in Hollywood for four years.
